Energy State of the Nation (ESON) 2015 - 20 March, Sydney

'Energy Policy, Energy Markets | Getting the priorities right' was the theme of the 9th annual ESON forum.

ESON was held on Friday 20 March in Sydney at the Amora Hotel Jamison.  Topics discussed included ..

  • Integrating energy policy and climate policy - How can this be done without crippling investment in the energy industry and damaging the economy?
  • How do we encourage innovation? Will a policy of technology diversity and neutrality work?

Governments must get their priorities right!  ESON2015 debated this issue.

ESON was preceded on Thursday 19 March by [Y]ESON - the [Young]Energy State of the Nation forum.  [Y]ESON was open to future energy leaders who were nominated by members of the Energy Policy Institute.
