Daniel McClelland

Executive Director – Corporate Services & Company Secretary, Alinta Energy

Daniel McClelland -Alinta-1-2016 0142 revised

Daniel has more than 15 years’ experience in corporate assurance and governance roles, developing out of a background in enterprise risk management, health, safety and asset protection and workers’ compensation. 

In his current role with Alinta Energy, Daniel is responsible for corporate governance, people and culture, safety, sustainability and asset protection as well as oversight of strategic support functions including legal and company secretarial, government relations, regulatory compliance and communications. Daniel joined Alinta Energy in 2011 as Chief Risk Officer, and took on responsibility for Corporate Services in late 2013. 

Prior to joining Alinta Energy, Daniel’s experience included roles at Qantas, followed by almost 10 years with Goodman Fielder in a range of senior roles including Group Insurance Manager and Chief Risk Officer.
